The Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Moscow Kremlin Museums is designed to house depositaries, restoration workshops, exposition and exhibition halls, premises for the museum staff, engineering and other life support systems necessary for completing, registering, storing, restoring, research, scientific description and public exposure of the collections.

As a part of the project, R-Technologies acted as a Designer of power supply systems, life safety and security systems, facility monitoring and control system.

 

Design features of the facility were:

 

• the need to integrate engineering systems into the existing building, which is an architectural monument;

 

• special requirements for the make-up air supply system in the exhibition halls with permanent and temporary exposures in terms of temperature, relative humidity and air mobility.

 

• special requirements for life safety and security systems, including 3 levels of security, special requirements for the third level, depending on the object of protection and the integrated security system;

 

• a large number of special multimedia systems, including AR systems, dubbing, audio guides, media walls, etc.,

 

• significant amount of electric equipment, which is similar to the industrial enterprises, special requirements for outdoor architectural lighting and lighting of exhibition halls and exhibits.

 

The development of design documentation from the moment of signing the Agreement to the receipt of a positive conclusion by the FAA Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, took 8 months.
