R-Technologies, as a part of this project, acted as a Subcontractor and carried out works in creating a microclimate control system in the machine rooms of the data center.

 

As a part of the project, work was carried out according to the following list:

• Development of detailed design for the FMCS section

• Electrical installation in accordance with the developed documentation, including the separate testing of the control system;

• Facility monitoring and control system commissioning;

• Preparation of as built documentation for the control system.

 

The data center is designed and built according to the Uptime Institute requirements and certified to meet the Tier 3 reliability level.

Tier 3 level implies a high redundancy level: maintenance or replacement of failed components can be performed without disrupting the normal functioning of the data center. All engineering systems are repeatedly reserved: there are numerous power supply and cooling systems, but only one of them is constantly active. This redundancy scheme is called 2N (all major systems are duplicated to reduce the services downtime). This allows reducing the services downtime to only 95 minutes a year.
