Mathematical modeling

In our work, we extensively use mathematical modeling CFD (computational fluid dynamics). It is a logical extension of our BIM-design technology.
Mathematical modeling is a cutting-edge tool used to check design engineering solutions for compliance with their functional task. The method is most applicable for solving application tasks in ventilation and air conditioning, and in some cases these tasks cannot be solved without modeling. The entire range of standard calculation methods doesn’t provide a full idea about the flows inside the investigated room, which makes them unfit for analysis of possible existing problems of room ventilation.

In its work, R-Technologies solve the following tasks:

1. Modeling of velocity and thermal fields to confirm the correctness of the selected air distribution scheme and arrangement of filter-fan units and air distributors. This is particularly important in creating clean room facilities since the obtained model allows to identifying and avoiding future problem areas, stagnant zones during the design stage and removing them.

2. Modeling of the process of air overpressure in cleanrooms. It is necessary to create the correct pressure cascade to maintain the required cleanness grade.

3. Modeling of artificial and natural lighting. It allows identifying of illuminator type and number, choose their correct layout, taking into account the provision of rated illumination on the work surface. This is particulary important when designing clean rooms with non-actinic lighting, such as lithography.

4. Determination of sound pressure levels when calculating the life safety systemsand public address and general alarm systems.
